SAFER SCHOOL ROADS

From June, the speed limit outside our school will drop to 30km/h during busy drop-off and pick-up times (8:00–9:00am and 2:45–3:45pm). At other times, the normal speed limit will apply.
There will be a mix of electronic and static signs. As soon as the signs are installed, the lower speed limit can be enforced, so please keep an eye out.
Take a look at the map to see how your usual route might change. For more information and FAQs, visit: rlc.net.nz/safespeeds
Thanks for helping keep our tamariki safe.

Traffic before and after school

My name is Anna Harrison, and I’m emailing on behalf of Dr Craig Harrison to let you know about a special public keynote he’s giving in Rotorua on Wednesday 10th June as part of his NZ Tour.
Under Pressure: How to Help Your Child Thrive in a High-Pressure Youth Sport World
With over 20 years’ experience working with developing athletes, coaches, and families, Craig is one of New Zealand’s leading voices on helping young people thrive in sport. His work blends cutting-edge research in long-term athlete development and child psychology with real-world stories from schools, clubs, and academies around the country.
Why share this with your community?
Because too many of our kids are dropping out, burning out, or getting hurt — and parents are desperate for guidance that actually helps. This is a rare chance for them to hear simple, practical ways to build confidence, protect wellbeing, and create positive sporting environments that last.
What are people saying?
"It was a great talk! I really enjoyed the status and belonging part and really related to it!" Zoe, Teen Athlete.
"Craig's presentation is a must-do! If you're a parent, supporter, coach or manager then the content Craig presents will be incredibly valuable to you." Leigh, Sports Parent
